As the movie drew to a close and the lights brightened I honestly couldn't think of a better superhero movie. That's how good it was.

As a superhero fanatic I've seen pretty much every superhero movie out, I'm honestly not a big DC movie fan - see recent DC movies as to why - but I decided to see Wonder Woman in the cinema for two reasons:

  1. The trailer was lit

  2. It has Chris Pine in it.

After the initial reviews came out from the "experts" I was torn. Should I go to this movie or not? The last thing I need is to waste money on a mediocre movie that I don't even enjoy.

Oh boy was I wrong.

I believe I cried twice during the movie. The first was during the beach battle, which to be frank was a masterpiece in itself, and the second was during the Village battle. The overhead shot of Dianna was absolute perfection, especially, as it had been accompanied by a close up of a bullet, ricocheting off of her armour. Nothing made me want to scream in joy more than seeing Dianna fight her way across no man's land.

Each section of the movie kept my heart racing, and even to this day I can hardly think of anything else.

Of course every movie has it's flaws, I personally wasn't a particular fan of the ending battle with Aries, however the actual ending I did love, it really shows how events can shape us forever.
